Edges in photography is the art of making something end. In the world nothing really ends for example a circle but if I were to take a picture of a circle and then cut it I've created edges for the circle.

I think the picture on the left is a piece of paper cut and manipulated and then has been placed next to a window in a dark room so it creates shadows. The picture on the right also has cuts on a piece of paper but much more simple and the photographer used a natural or studio light so it is easier to tell what it is . The left has curved lines , straight lines and shaped lines . The right has straight lines , triangles , thin lines and thick lines.
The left picture has been placed next to a window in a dark room so it creates shadows on the paper and makes it look more mysterious. The right picture looks like it was used with studio or natural lights . You can describe the right picture as minimal , simple and empty. The left picture is swirling , complicated and abstract.
I prefer the picture on the left because it is more complicated and you can’t really tell what it is in the beginning.
Noticing the light
What did I do ? I started off by observing both pictures , the first picture on the first picture was much easier then the second one on the bottom . With the picture on the top I reflected it , I started off by sketching what was on the picture. I then went in with my pencil using the tip and side of the pencil creating different tones and shades.

MIRRORS AND CHATTERBOXS
PAPER SCULPTURE / COLOUR SCULPTURES - FRANK GEHRY
As a class we were assigned to re create Frank Gehry's style of art. We used pieces of paper, glue, staplers, scissors and more to create our own sculpture. After we made a sculpture we then photographed them in front of different coloured pieces of paper. The different coloured paper can either conceal or expose different parts of the sculpture.
WWW : I like the wide range of colours I tried to get different angles of the sculpture I used a range of background
EBI: I tried my best to not capture any shadows I kept the picture in proportion
